About / Behind the photographs
Curiosity behind the lens.
I am Petr Dolejš. I photograph what makes me slow down and look once more.
For now my selection is mostly landscape from a bird's-eye view. Morning fog, snowy forests, and buildings that take on a different scale altogether from above.
I do not treat any subject as a fixed border, though. What interests me is light, and how it can change an ordinary place. Sometimes a few steps to the side are enough. Sometimes it takes a view from above.
Leaving room for chance.
These galleries are a personal diary. A selection of moments I want to return to, and room for the ones still to come.
- In the galleries
- Real photographs, each with its own light and mood.
- On the way
- New places, other subjects. The portfolio changes along with whatever catches my eye.
